Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Manage and train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and customer service standards
- Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations
- Handle cash handling and POS transactions
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a skilled workforce
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and prompt resolution of issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
- Lead team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives
- Develop schedules to optimize staffing during peak hours while controlling labor costs
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management, including supervising teams in food service or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and kitchen experience
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Proficiency in POS systems, particularly Aloha or similar platforms
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management, interviewing, and training staff
- Ability to manage food preparation, cooking, and overall restaurant operations efficiently
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and maintaining financial accuracy
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and food safety protocols
- Experience in restaurantenvironments is a plus for versatile management skills
