Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cribbing Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have commercial and residential experience with at least three years experience using Duraform, possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction management, and proficiency in reading architectural/structural drawings and plans. This role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and maintaining safety standards to deliver projects on time and within scope. The position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the successful execution of construction initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Read and interpret architectural/structural plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and adjust plans as necessary to stay within financial parameters.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, safety adherence, and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for stakeholders.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to legal regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with supervising responsibilities in large-scale commercial and residential projects
- At least three years of experience using Duraform
- Strong ability to read plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes.
- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members.
- Prior experience in supervising teams on-site with a focus on safety compliance. This role is essential for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects through effective leadership, technical expertise, and meticulous planning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
