We are a growing & Fast-paced medical/surgical clinic looking for a full-time Ophthalmic Technician!
Job Description
As an ophthalmic technician you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Vision testing
- Diagnostic testing
- Instilling drops
- Taking medical history
- Calling patients into examining and technical rooms
- Direct patient care
- Updating and working on patients medical charts
Qualifications:
- A positive and upbeat attitude
- Multitasking skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Moderate computer knowledge
- Strong typing ability
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Bilingualism (asset)
- Ability to work in a team as well as on your own
Experience not mandatory - all training is done on site!
Must be able to work at both our locations.
