Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various task such as measure, package and deliver materials. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
-Manufacture metal roofing and siding in a production environment
-Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal and other materials to manufacture orders
-Load, unload and deliver products to residential and commercial customers
-Safely operate a variety of machinery, hand and power tools to complete jobs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
-A valid Nova Scotia drivers liceanse
Skills:
-Construction background preferred
-Possess a high degree of attention to detail and strategic thinker
-Ability to follow directions with accuracy
-Good communication skills
-Able to work independently and within a team environment.
