Night Audit Supervisor
The Night Audit Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Front Office during overnight hours. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing front desk operations, supporting team members, delivering exceptional guest service, and ensuring all night audit procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will lead by example, maintain high service standards, and handle guest and operational concerns with professionalism and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Front Office operations during overnight shifts.
- Ensure all night audit procedures are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Assist with front desk duties, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Support, coach, and motivate team members to achieve service excellence.
- Prepare and distribute daily operational and financial reports.
- Monitor hotel security and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Drive the hotel shuttle when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the hotel industry.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office operations and hotel procedures.
- Experience with reservation systems and hotel property management systems.
- Micros OPERA PMS experience is required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate the hotel shuttle.
- Knowledge of Calgary and surrounding attractions.
- Standard First Aid certification is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.

- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective during high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Flexible and willing to work within a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional day or evening shifts as required.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must successfully complete a criminal record check acceptable to the organization.
