Role Overview:
We are seeking a few passionate individuals to join our team of Mavericks in the tasting room this season. This role centres on creating exceptional guest experiences through storytelling and genuine connection. Tasting Room Associates lead guided tastings and play an important role in driving wine and wine club sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging and educational tasting experiences, sharing the story of our wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy.
- Greet guests professionally and efficiently, ensuring every visitor receives personalized attention.
- Support the achievement of tasting room and wine club sales targets.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the tasting room and property.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and assist guests with purchases.
- Assist with packing and fulfillment of online and wine club orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Provide support for winery events as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in wine or hospitality.
- Serving It Right certification and legal BC drinking age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for wine and hospitality, with an approachable, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week (3–4 days preferred).
- Food Safe certification and WSET credentials are considered assets.
- Experience with Commerce7 or similar POS systems is an asset.

Compensation:
Hourly wage is starts at $22 depending on experience. Gratuities, wine club commissions, and discounts on wine as well.
