Toronto Wellness & Physio Center is seeking an experienced and organized Medical Receptionist to join our busy multidisciplinary wellness clinic. We are looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and has strong experience with insurance billing and patient coordination.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule appointments and manage clinic calendars
- Handle patient intake, phone calls, emails, and administrative tasks
- Process billing for Extended Health Care (EHC) insurance plans
- Manage and submit MVA and WSIB claims and related documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinic files
- Coordinate with healthcare practitioners and support daily clinic operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical, physiotherapy, chiropractic, or wellness clinic
- Strong knowledge of EHC billing procedures
- Familiarity with MVA and WSIB billing and claim processing
- Experience using clinic management software is an asset
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Pay: $17.20-$24.51 per hour
