The Role
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. You will work directly alongside our Controller, supporting the day-to-day financial operations across multiple SPVs and hotel assets. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow fast in a sophisticated real estate and hospitality environment. You will be given real ownership and real exposure from day one.
What You Will Do
- Maintain accurate books across multiple entities in QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable and receivable across hotel and real estate SPVs
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany transactions monthly
- Support month-end close and preparation of management accounts
- Assist the Controller with financial reporting packages for investors and ownership
- Coordinate with property-level staff to ensure timely and accurate expense coding
- Maintain organised records of invoices, contracts, and financial documentation
- Flag variances or anomalies to the Controller promptly
- Support annual audit and tax preparation processes
What We Are Looking ForRequired
- 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience — hospitality or real estate exposure is a plus but not mandatory
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or willingness to learn quickly
- High attention to detail and comfort managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Organised and self-directed - you do not need to be reminded twice
- Clear communicator who flags problems early rather than quietly hoping they resolve
- Eager to learn and grow within a lean, fast-moving team
Preferred
- Some exposure to hotel or property accounting - even internship or part-time experience counts
- Familiarity with multi-entity or SPV structures
- Exposure to AI-assisted financial tools or automated reporting workflows
- Accounting diploma, relevant certification, or currently pursuing one
