Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products and explaining features
- Conduct upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandise displays, ensure products are well-stocked, and organize the sales floor for optimal presentation
- Provide product information via phone or in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Support inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising tasks
- Assist with store organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related fields
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (English required) to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for merchandising and inventory management
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and upselling techniques effectively
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
