Looking for a Thursdays Dental Assistant 10am to 7pm.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on both general and specialized dentistry, including orthodontics and pediatrics. Prior experience with dental software Dentrix is preferred, along with familiarity itero scanning.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including root canals.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs using dexis
- Help doctors typing with notes templates in Dentrix
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of dental professionals.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in dental assisting certification is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
