Material Handlers are responsible for pallet preparation, department sanitation, general housekeeping and palletizing on the production line in the Cooler area.
Duties and Responsibilities
Follow operating procedures and be responsible for accurate record keeping.
Maintain shipping and receiving area and dock. Conduct regular sanitation tasks and any additional sanitation duties as required.
Prepare inedible product for pickup and disposal.
Ensuring all code date units, label printers and other related machinery are properly set as per daily production numbers.
Ensuring all equipment and workplace is kept clean and organized, following HACCP prerequisite plans, SOP’s, policies and procedures.
Complying with all Plant GMP and Health & Safety rules and other relevant business processes.
Responsible to report food safety problems and/or quality problems to Production Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance to initiate actions.
Any other job duties requested by Production Supervisor.
Understand, support and comply with all food safety and quality policies such as Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Hygiene, Allergen, Organic and Food Security.
4:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday / 4:00 am - 8:30am Friday
