About the Role
We're hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead on our renovation projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who delivers high-quality finishes, including framing, structural carpentry, and finishing — to bring each project from rough work through to a quality finished result. Ability to take care of the customer experience, and helps bring up the next group of installers. You'll report to the Site Lead / Superintendent and play a key part in keeping projects on track and on standard.
What You'll Do
- Supervise smaller crews and oversee quality across multiple renovation projects
- Mentor junior and intermediate installers in techniques, customer service, and attention to detail
- Assist site leads with scheduling and timelines while managing customer expectations and communication
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites on customer properties
- Help ensure projects are completed on time and to River Crest's quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in residential renovation, exterior finishing work and framing.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality finishes
- Comfortable supervising and mentoring crew members
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable with heights, ladders, and working outdoors in all weather
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices (PPE, fall protection)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites (confirm if required)
