Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders to support various construction projects. This role requires mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. The Excavator Operator will play a vital role in ensuring project efficiency and safety on-site.
Duties
- Operate excavators to perform earthmoving, grading, and site preparation tasks
- Loading trucks, rough grade, trenching etc.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and minor repairs
Experience
- Proven experience operating excavator
- Experience in construction environments with a focus on earthmoving or site development projects
