Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as tightening, loosening, and replacing parts
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues and preparing parts for repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all maintenance activities
- Learn to operate basic diagnostic tools under supervision to identify mechanical problems
- Help with inventory management of tools and replacement parts
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in learning mechanical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
- Familiarity with power tools is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
