Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, loaders, bulldozers, and other machinery
- Perform tasks such as digging foundations, installing septic systems, grading, and moving materials using the equipment
- Following safety protocols and ensuring proper maintenance of equipment, including daily inspections
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Minimum 5 years experience operating heavy equipment on construction sites in residential and commercial environment
- Experience doing fine grading is a must
- AZ Licence as well as a septic system installer licence is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Knowledge of and ability to operate various equipment in a safe manner
- Clean Driver's abstract
- Knowledge of workplace safety as well as safe lifting/handling procedures
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues is an asset, but not required
- Must be able to read and understand civil drawings
