Job Overview
If you're looking for more than just another job—one that combines practical problem-solving, customer service, and the opportunity to earn increasing responsibility and independence—we'd like to hear from you.
Sunshine Coast Pest Detective is looking for a full-time Pest Control Technician to join our growing team.
We're a locally owned company that believes in doing the job properly, treating customers with respect, and building long-term relationships through professional service.
We believe in training people properly, giving them the support they need, and then trusting them to take ownership of their work, equipment, and customer relationships.
This is not a sales position. Your success will be measured by the quality of your work, your professionalism, your judgement, your attention to detail, and the relationships you build with customers.
No previous pest control experience is required. We provide structured training, licensing support, and ongoing mentorship. We're looking for someone with integrity, good judgement, and a willingness to learn. We'll provide the training, support, and experience needed to build the technical skills.
Every property and every customer is different. Successful technicians investigate the situation, identify the cause of the problem, and implement effective solutions that protect our customers, their homes, and their businesses.
As your training progresses and you demonstrate good judgement, you'll earn increasing responsibility and independence while always working within established company procedures, product labels, and provincial regulations. There are opportunities to grow your career as the company continues to expand.

- Inspect residential and light commercial properties for pest activity and contributing conditions.

- Maintain assigned equipment, tools, and company vehicle in a clean, safe, and service-ready condition.
- Represent Sunshine Coast Pest Detective professionally at every customer interaction.
