Our client is looking to hire truss builders for their location in Cobourg, Ontario to work the straight DAY shift. This is an ideal position for someone who has previous carpentry experience, enjoys working with hand tools, is physically fit, has good stamina and works well with others.
Start Date: Monday 25 May
Hours of Work: Straight Days - Monday to Thursday - 6.00am to 3.30pm, Friday 6.00am to 2.30pm for a total of 44 Hours a week.
Rate of Pay: $20.00 p/h plus 4% vacation pay
Responsibilities:
» Picking orders
» Stacking lumber at saws
» Preparing and assembling pre-fabricated wood pieces
» Using hand tools and power tools
» Assisting with the movement of semi-finished and finished products
Requirements:
- Must have experience and be comfortable handling power tools
- Familiar with measurement tools
- Able to follow directions
- Able to work in a team
- Quality & detail orientated
- Physically fit
- Safety conscious
- Framing experience is considered a strong asset
