Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential services to our valued customers while contributing to the overall safety and performance of their vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Inspect vehicles for potential mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or service advisors
- Replace filters, fluids, and other routine maintenance parts using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Assist with basic vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to dealership policies during all service procedures
Skills
- Dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and routine maintenance procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Sales skills are a plus for recommending additional services or products to customers
Pay: $17.20-$29.33 per hour
