Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within the food industry. Previous experience with POS systems, Micros POS, and food handling is highly desirable. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
- Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling accurately
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, including food preparation and food safety practices
- Manage serving duties such as taking orders, serving food, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Assist with basic math calculations for transactions and change accuracy
- Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, barista work, serving, or cashiering preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in the food industry or related roles is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
