We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our Sahara Place wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Utilize various techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to promote relaxation and alleviate pain.
- Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and preferences regarding their massage experience.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Ensure a clean and welcoming environment by maintaining hygiene standards for all equipment and treatment areas.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. (RMT)*
- “Lymphatic massage certification is an asset, but not a requirement.”
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and respond to client inquiries.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
