Ultrasound Technologist

Position Summary:
This temporary part-time role offers the possibility of flexible scheduling, with opportunities for evening and weekend hours depending on availability and needs.
The position of Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the implementation, preparation, working and processing of ultrasound exams to produce high quality studies for interpretation by Radiologists both on and off site. NOTE: The successful applicant may be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, in accordance with the needs of patients and hospital operations.

Qualifications:

Sonography Canada CRGS credentialed member
-
Member in good standing with CMRITO
-
Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

2-5 years imaging experience in a hospital environment and/or equal relevant experience in a private facility with continual membership by Canadian certified and licensed Radiologists

Demonstrated competency in all aspects of general sonography

Vascular, Musculoskeletal and Obstetrical experience preferred

Experience with One Chart and PACS software suites considered a strong asset

Current Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screen and immunization status required upon hire.
