Job Summary:
Join us at our family owned and operated Placer Gold Mine outside of Dawson City, Yukon until October of 2026 as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This is a seasonal positionhiring multiple candidates. We are looking for experienced and new operators with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for:
- Hoe Operators (CAT 349, Volvo 220,480,700,750)
- Articulated Rock Truck Drivers (Cat 740, 745, Volvo A35, A40)
- Dozer operators (CAT D6-10)
- Loader operators (Volvo L220G, L250H, L260H, L250H)
- Grader operators (CAT 16G)
Duties:
- Machine Maintenance
- Daily Equipment Checklists
- Follow instructions and move material accordingly
- Work safely and respectfully in individual and team settings
- 2-way radio communication
This is a camp position with a 12 day on, 2 days off shift. We offer relocation assistance to get to the Yukon however this is NOT fly in fly out work, nor is end of season travel covered. Camp accommodations include a private room, shared wash facilities and a dining hall providing 3 meals a day.
Wages $25-$32/hour with overtime after 8hrs.
11hrs/day, 77hrs/week.
