Overview
We are a startup company with a need for diverse skills within the restaurant cleaning sector. Established in early 2026, we have built a respectable book of business in a short time and are looking to expand. A company is built on the strength of customer relations, but most importantly a stellar end result. As such, we are looking for a candidate who goes the extra mile by default, and has the hunger to succeed. To narrow down further what we seek, a list of desired skill sets will be listed below.
Desired Skills
Hoods- Has prior experience cleaning hoods, including manual scraping, and knows how to clean ductwork and exhaust fans. The candidate should also have a baseline of chemical and practical knowledge. What chemicals would be best in certain situations, and tools to use in order to adapt best to different job settings for example. Candidates who have a licence to work at heights, as well as a drivers licence will have a considerable advantage in this category but is not a deal breaker.
Mechanical - Has knowledge of how to repair and maintain hood exhaust motors, how to change fan belts, and can make accurate recommendations when necessary. Knowledge of repair and maintenance for equipment within the kitchen is also a considerable advantage in this category
Deep Cleaning - Has experience and capability to effectively deep clean a kitchen. Has knowledge of how to clean different kitchen equipment effectively and the tools required to do said job. Example of this would be flat top grill restoration, deep fryer cleaning, convection oven deep cleaning etc.
Night Cleaning - Has knowledge of how to clean restaurants quickly and effectively. Those who have a background in the kitchen will be favored, as this provides an extra layer of knowledge on the needs of a restaurant in terms of cleanliness. Additional skills such as grill cleaning and maintenance, as well as fryer boil-outs will provide a considerable advantage in this category. We are preferably looking for someone with 6 months or more of experience in this line of work.
