Overview
Elevate Gymnastics is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to help keep our gym clean, safe, and welcoming for our athletes and families. We are seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the gymnastics facility on a regular basis. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, demonstrating attention to detail and an ability to work efficiently and independently.
Hours: 6 hours per week (3 visits per week, approx. 2 hours each)
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: 3 days per week, clean outside of programming time, exact schedule to be determined based on availability
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas such as viewing areas and entrance, according to health and safety standards
- Sweeping, Moping, and vaccuming
- Cleaning glass and mirrors
- General tidying and garbage removal
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required
- Additional tasks or periodic deep cleaning as time permits, such as mat cleaning, wall washing, or carpet cleaning
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Must be available to clean outside of program hours and work around our class schedule
