CNC Lathe Operator/Machinist (Aerospace & Defense)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Pay: $22 – $28 per hour
Available Shifts: Day Shift or Afternoon Shift
Afternoon Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Requirements- Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident required
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team at Macfab Manufacturing Inc.
In this role, you will operate CNC lathe machines, inspect parts, and ensure components meet precise engineering and quality standards used in Aerospace, Medical, Defense, and other precision manufacturing industries.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC turning/lathe machines.
Load and unload parts
Perform in-process inspections and quality checks
Use measuring tools and gauges
Maintain machine and workspace cleanliness
Follow safety and manufacturing procedures
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
CNC lathe or machine shop experience preferred
Ability to read and follow instructions and drawings
Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Good communication and teamwork skills
5+ years CNC machining experience preferred in aerospace, defense, medical device, or precision manufacturing environments
