The Work
We install commercial flooring for a variety of clients, with steady work and the opportunity to take on large-scale commercial contracts that can run several months at a time — meaning consistent, reliable work for installers who want it.
You must be experienced and confident installing:
- Tile
- Homogeneous sheet and tile flooring
- Heterogeneous sheet flooring
Precision, speed, and quality craftsmanship matter — our clients expect commercial-grade work, and we expect our installers to deliver it.
Contract Details
This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role. You'll operate as your own business, manage your own schedule and tools, and take on the work that fits your capacity.
Compensation is piece-rate, based on the type of product installed:
- $1.75 – $8.00 per square foot, depending on flooring type and installation complexity
Skilled, efficient installers who take on larger commercial jobs have significant earning potential — especially with multi-month contracts available.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience installing commercial tile, homogeneous, and heterogeneous flooring
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to read specs/drawings and work to commercial finish standards
- Comfortable working as an independent contractor (own insurance/WCB coverage as required)
- Willingness to relocate to Terrace, BC
