Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organized Catering Office Administrative Assistant to join a busy catering company in North York. This 2-month part-time contract is ideal for an individual with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and respond to incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Process catering orders and maintain accurate customer information
- Prepare invoices, quotations, and other administrative documents
- Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Organize and maintain office files, records, and documentation
- Perform data entry and assist with payment follow-ups
- Provide general administrative support and assist with day-to-day office operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, office, or customer service role (experience in catering or hospitality is an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude
