Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation practices, adhering to food handling regulations
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage and temperature control of ingredients
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of shortages or issues
Experience
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment demonstrates familiarity with fast-paced service demands
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
