Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials using forklifts,
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
- Track inventory and manage stock levels
- Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing goods for shipment or storage
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment
- Support warehouse distribution tasks including load & unload operations and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to ensure operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Forklift license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picker operation and load & unload procedures
- Background in agriculture or construction is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management
This position is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting logistics functions, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. We value safety-conscious individuals with a proactive approach to teamwork and operational excellence.
This is a 3 month contract position. Due to strong company growth, there is the possibility of this position changing from contract into full-time at the end of the 3 months.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
