Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods between locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and relevant warehouse or commercial driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling as needed
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Experience in moving heavy loads safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service skills to handle interactions professionally
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics operations is advantageous
This position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and effective communication skills. Candidates should have relevant warehouse experience or familiarity with commercial driving practices to succeed in this role.
Pay: $19.95-$21.00 per hour
