Collaborate daily with the Site Superintendent to plan work and priorities
-
Participate in toolbox meetings for safety updates and task alignment
-
Interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications accurately
-
Perform tilt-up construction and concrete formwork tasks
-
Build and install formwork for:
-
Panels
-
Footings
-
Slabs
-
Retaining walls
-
Stairs
-
Assist with layout preparation for footings, slabs, panels, and underground work
-
Select materials and plan work sequences for efficient project execution
-
Safely operate hand and power tools
-
Maintain a full carpentry tool belt in working condition
-
Work collaboratively with other trades while maintaining productivity and quality
-
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
-
Adapt to evolving site conditions and project needs
-
3+ years of carpentry experience in construction
-
Minimum 1+ year working with personal tools and tool belt on-site
-
Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
-
Experience with concrete formwork
-
Solid understanding of layout processes (footings, slabs, panels)
-
Ability to work independently and within a team
-
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
-
Ability to travel to different job sites (vehicle preferred)

Tilt-up construction experience
-
Red Seal Carpentry Certification
-
Industrial construction experience
-
Telehandler experience
-
