Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automotive Assistant Manager to join our dealership team. This role involves supporting daily operations, assisting with sales and customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, dealership experience, and excellent leadership skills to help drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily dealership operations, including service and repair activities.
- Support the sales team by providing technical knowledge and helping to upsell services and products.
- Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately during transactions.
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment within the dealership.
- Contribute to inventory management by tracking parts and supplies needed for repairs and sales.
- Support training of new staff members and assist in team development initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive sales, repair, and customer service processes.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or maintenance.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to support team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
