Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine creative design skills with strong sales abilities to help clients envision and realize their dream kitchens. This role involves collaborating with clients, providing expert advice, and utilizing various design tools to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts. A background in renovation, construction, or retail sales is a plus, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for high-end design. The Kitchen Designer will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales through innovative solutions and product demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen remodeling projects.
- Create detailed kitchen designs using CAD software such as Autocad, Mozaik and other design tools.
- Present design concepts to clients, including product demos and visualizations, to facilitate decision-making.
- Assist clients with product selection, upselling premium options, and explaining features to enhance their experience.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation to closing, including inside and outside sales strategies.
- Conduct negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements on project scope and pricing.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain organized account management records and follow up on leads through marketing initiatives.
- Handle POS transactions and cash handling accurately during client consultations or retail interactions.
- Stay informed about current trends in renovation, construction, merchandising, and high-end kitchen products.
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones through exceptional customer service.
Skills
- Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, and other design tools for creating detailed layouts.
- Strong outside sales experience with a proven track record in high-end or retail sales environments.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus.(punjabi?)
- Knowledge of renovation processes, construction practices, and merchandising techniques.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and upsell premium options confidently.
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer service expertise with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimating project costs accurately.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, inside sales, account management, marketing strategies, and retail sales operations. Pay: $37,960.00-$50,000.00 per year
