We are looking for a reliable and motivated On-Call Warehouse Associate to support our team in ongoing warehouse operations in Cranbrook, BC. In this role, you will help ensure smooth workflows by checking and sorting parcels, verifying labels, and placing items onto the appropriate pallets. This is a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads, so flexibility and the ability to work on short notice are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check labels and ensure accuracy on incoming parcels
- Sort parcels based on size, destination, or other categories
- Place parcels onto the correct pallets for shipping
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) if trained
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings as needed
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move parcels
- Available to work 5-6 hours per day, 5 days a week (hours may vary depending on workload)
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
