We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician – Industrial to join our maintenance team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors, shredders, extruders, and production lines

Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
-
Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment

Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
-
Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols
-
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
-
Completion of secondary school required

Completion of an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) apprenticeship or 5 years of related experience

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, and industrial equipment

Experience in manufacturing or recycling industry preferred

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Physically capable of handling heavy equipment and working in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience with welding and fabrication

Knowledge of PLC systems (asset)

Forklift or other equipment certification (asset)

Physically demanding role (lifting, standing, bending)
