Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining knowledge of menu items to assist guests with recommendations and upselling opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring all items are prepared according to established guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with a solid understanding of guest services and hospitality principles.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
