Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Counter Attendant to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front counter. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and handling standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Manage time effectively to maintain service speed during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
