The Wood Buffalo Educare Society (Educare Preschool) is seeking a registered Physical Therapist to provide contracted services to children between the ages of 2.8–5 years who are receiving Program Unit Funding (PUF) support through Children’s Autism Services of Edmonton (CASE).
Job Details
- Contract
- $110 per hour
- Number of service hours will be determined by CASE once PUF numbers have been finalized
- Applications remain open until a suitable candidate is found
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Have experience working with preschool-aged children and/ or children with developmental delays
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services for PUF students
- Support student participation and gross motor development within the classroom environment
- Increase staff capacity building through collaboration, coaching, and support strategies
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain appropriate documentation and communication
