We are looking for a Junior Administrator / Purchasing Coordinator to join a Montreal Retailer !
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, manage, and maintain customer orders throughout the order lifecycle.
- Create and process purchase orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Submit purchase orders to vendors and ensure timely confirmation of receipt.
- Track order progress and provide regular updates to the sales team regarding status, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers to monitor lead times, backorders, product availability, and shipment status.
- Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate incoming shipments, receiving activities, and inventory updates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory reconciliation as required.
- Support administrative functions related to purchasing, order management, inventory control, and customer projects.
- Organize and maintain detailed records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, and vendor communications.
- Identify and proactively resolve order, inventory, or supplier-related issues to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong administrative, coordination, and data-entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience using Lightspeed ERP or POS systems.
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination.
- Familiarity with vendor management, procurement processes, and inventory control best practices.
