Job Overview
We are a locally owned sign company in Prince George looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team.
This role focuses primarily on preparing simple, clean sign layouts and setting up files for production. While creativity is welcome, most of our work involves aligning text, preparing logos, and getting artwork ready for printers, cutters, and CNC equipment.

Duties
- Preparing and setting up files for
- Large format printers
- Vinyl cutters
- CNC routers
- Simple sign layout (text alignment, logo placement, sizing and spacing)
- Preparing vector artwork for cutting and routing
- Weeding vinyl (removing excess vinyl after cutting)
- Assisting with sign finishing and assembly
- Light shop cleaning and organization
- Occasional local field or installation support
Requirements
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Strong understanding of vector artwork
- Must be able to work within a team environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Proof of skills will be requested prior to employment.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience preparing files for print or production
- Experience in sign production
- Experience operating vinyl cutters or large format printers
- Experience with CNC router file setup
- Local applicants in Prince George preferred
Training can be provided for the right candidate with strong foundational skills.
