Realistic Success Recovery Society is seeking passionate, skilled, and community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality treatment and recovery services tailored to the unique needs of men seeking healing, stability, and long-term recovery. We are a nonprofit male treatment center committed to helping men overcome substance use.
Role of the Board
Board members play a critical role in advancing our mission by providing governance, strategic guidance, and fiduciary oversight. Board members act as ambassadors for the organization and support its sustainability, growth, and impact.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting and advancing the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Providing strategic direction and governance oversight
- Ensuring financial accountability and organizational integrity
- Participating in board meetings and committee work
- Leveraging personal and professional networks to support the organization
- Serving as an advocate for men’s treatment and recovery in the community
Desired Skills & Experience
We welcome candidates from diverse professional backgrounds. Experience in any of the following areas is especially valuable:
- Behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare
- Finance, accounting, or legal services
- Nonprofit governance or leadership
- Fundraising, development, or community relations
- Marketing, communications, or business development
- Lived experience with recovery (personal or family)
Commitment
- Board term: 2 years
- Time commitment: Approximately 5 hours per month
- Meetings: 6 x a year, primarily hybrid.
