What You’ll Actually Learn
We want to develop a well-rounded automotive leader.
You’ll receive hands-on training and real experience in:
- Desking and structuring deals
- Used vehicle appraisals
- Used vehicle inventory management
- Inventory acquisition and purchasing
- New and used vehicle merchandising
- Deal profitability and gross management
- Coaching and developing salespeople
- Closing and TO strategies
- Appointment and pipeline management
- Daily sales floor operations
- Performance management and accountability
- Understanding the numbers behind a successful sales department
You won’t be expected to know all of this on day one.
That’s the point of the opportunity.
We’re looking for someone who has mastered the fundamentals of selling and is ready to learn how to run a sales department.
A Real Path Forward
Our goal is not to hire an Assistant Sales Manager who stays an Assistant Sales Manager forever.
For the right person, this can be a stepping stone toward becoming a Sales Manager.
You’ll work directly with an experienced and highly involved leadership team that believes in developing people, giving them real responsibility, and teaching them every side of the business.
We know many top salespeople reach a point where they want more.
The challenge is that when you’re producing at a high level, your current store may not want to lose those sales by moving you into management.
Opportunities to truly learn desking, used cars, inventory, leadership, and sales operations can be difficult to find.

Management experience is not required.
