Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Cleaedent
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
- Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans using medical terminology that is accessible to patients
- Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
Requirements
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
- Proficiency with dental software ,Cleardent
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Familiarity with CAD technology for digital imaging is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in administrative support within a dental practice is advantageous
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
