Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a full time AZ/DZ Truck Driver who will report to the Logistics Manager as part of the logistics team.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of assigned trucks.
- Required to deal with the customer and the public in a courteous and respectful manner to ensure above average customer service.
- Keeping truck clean and follow all work instructions in accordance with Health & Safety, Biosecurity, and HACCP requirements.
- Ensure that a final check is done on the load to ensure accurate delivery.
- Follow any, and all delivery instructions given by dispatch and the customers sales rep.
- Proper loading of the truck and weights are accurately recorded
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- An overall understanding of Agriculture and feed industry would be preferred
- Self-motivated individual with strong organization skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to learn and use all tools available to the job, including enterprise systems
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and demanding environment
