Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Description:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves coordinating activities across teams, managing schedules, and maintaining clear communication among stakeholders. The Project Coordinator supports project managers by tracking progress, preparing documentation, and resolving any issues that may arise during project lifecycle. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate project activities among team members and stakeholders
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports
- Facilitate communication between project teams and management
- Monitor project progress and flag potential risks or delays
- Support the preparation of status reports and presentations
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Assist in resource management and allocation
- Manage meeting logistics and record meeting minutes
Working Rotation:
- Three weeks on, one week off schedule
- Work hours range from 10 to 12 hours per day
- Overtime pay at 1.5x rate after 50 hours per week
- Flexibility to work longer hours as needed to meet project demands
Conditions:
- On-site work environment, with company-provided vehicle available for use at the site
- Use of standard office equipment and software tools
- Possible exposure to typical site or construction environments
- May involve sitting or standing for extended periods during working hours
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Civil/Municipal Engineering Technology
- Experience working in a remote workplace, including experience with civil infrastructure such as concrete foundations, water/wastewater piping, lagoons, water and wastewater treatment plant construction, right of way clearing, camp construction, etc.
- Proven experience in project coordination or administrative support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Excel, project, word, etc).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
