We are a full services National Commercial Security Integrator specializing in the design and installation of card access, video and monitoring systems. With offices in BC, Ontario and Montreal, and a communications manufacturing/service division, we have positioned ourselves as a national player and leader when it comes to the installation of highly creative security and life safety solutions that utilize the latest in technology.
We are seeking a qualified candidate with Security industry experience to manage the administration group, sales team and financial accountability for our Mississauga branch. Responsibilities for this position include:
- Oversee sales and administration personnel for the GTA
- Ensure all CIS policies and procedures and installation standards are adhered to by all office & field personnel
- Oversee ULC inspections, maintenance program and project commissioning
- Review and approve all Service & Project dept. invoicing
- Coordinate with IT, sales and Project Manager for field operations
- Follow-up on incomplete installations and service work until 100% completion
- Read and understand specifications for all active projects
- Help train and mentor sales, administration and operations personnel
- Negotiate contracts and direct activities for sub-contractors
- Provide operational reports as required
- Oversee product purchasing and inventory management
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and resourceful, with a strong technical background and an aptitude for continued learning. Essential qualifications and experience for this position include:
- Strong technical background with 7-10 years experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the latest in card access solutions (incl. software programming), IP video, networking and monitoring systems
- Possess leadership qualities with an ability to direct and motivate staff
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer and networking skills
- Decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Resourceful and open to continuous learning
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Ability to formulate and compile reports
- Able to multi-task and handle pressure
- Meet deadlines and contribute to Company goals
This position must work with the other department heads and all the Cobra Group of Companies to promote services and growth focusing on:
