Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and organized Caregiver/Housekeeper to assist an individual with daily household tasks and provide general support. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home while offering companionship and assistance with everyday routines.
This position is ideal for someone who is caring, dependable, and takes pride in helping others maintain their independence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and assist with light cooking
- Perform light housekeeping and general cleaning
- Complete laundry, ironing, and household organization
- Assist with grocery shopping and occasional errands
- Provide companionship and support with daily routines
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
Schedule
- 3–4 hours per day
- 3–4 days per week
- Flexible scheduling available
- Weekend availability is required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is an asset (if errands are required)
