Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and assisting with various tasks to support the restaurant's operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to food safety standards and restaurant guidelines.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining areas regularly to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively serve guests.
Skills
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Attention to detail in order taking and presentation of food items.
