Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in hotel, custodial, or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to hotel standards and safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with laundry services as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial roles is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for both hospitality settings and industrial environments is a plus
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
