About the opportunity
BA - Tech Consulting Inc. is seeking multiple Procurement Specialists, Intermediate to support a federal quality assurance authority responsible for delivering quality assurance services, including quality management system oversight, audits, and materiel management for government-owned contractor custody material (GOCCM).
Background
The successful candidates will provide supply, inventory control, and material management support in connection with Repair and Overhaul (R&O) contracts, in accordance with the applicable Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage RMA/CRPA account creation and modification, and ensure compliance of supply system transactions per SAM/PAM standards
- Maintain the Special Instructions database and update SOPs for Materiel Management, R&O, and Stocktaking (GOCCM and Loans)
- Monitor vendor compliance for Repair and Overhaul activities and report to the Materiel Management Team Lead
- Support audits, stocktaking, and onsite verifications, and prepare auditable inventory adjustment documents
- Conduct 100% stock-take audits, investigate discrepant counts, and process write-off/adjustment reports
- Perform material requirement planning, inventory management, and supply chain support, including preparing inventory reports and monitoring stock usage trends
- Use SAP transactions (ME55, ME28, MMBE, ZEPM_ODR, ME21N) for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, stock reviews, demand reports, and stock transport orders
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports with associated invoices
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing a minimum of five (5) of the following eleven (11) supply chain-related transaction types within the Inventory Management module of an Enterprise Resource Management system (e.g., SAP, DRMIS):
- Vetting stock disposition
- Reception of material
- Discrepancy Reporting - creating and managing discrepancy reports (DR)
- Creating a Work Order and managing all necessary actions
- Issuing & returning spare parts to/from a Work Order
- Ordering spares manually
- Work Completion: (a) returning asset from Work Order; (b) transferring asset to final location; (c) reworking of materiel
- Creating a Shipment
- Reviewing Work Order returns
- Divestment process
- Running Reports: (a) Display Warehouse Stocks of Materiel; (b) Supply Strip Report; (c) Materiel Document List; (d) Shelf-Life List; (e) List of Work Orders
- A minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing shipping and receiving using an Enterprise Resource Management system (e.g., SAP, DRMIS)
- A minimum of thirty-six (36) months of work experience within the last seventy-two (72) months performing investigations of inventory management adjustments using an Enterprise Resource Planning system (e.g., SAP, DRMIS)
